It is not a good livestock feed for low protein content, but an excellent raw material of activated carbon for high carbon content.
Materials and Methods Materials The rice hull is obtained from Liaoyang City, Liaoning province, and washed and dried before use; The oil-polluted sea water is obtained from Boshiwan Coast resort, Development Zone, Dalian, China, whose initial oil concentration ranges from 0.2-0.4mg/L.
As a result, rice hull should be taken as raw material in future research so as to explore some new preparation methods and produce more rice hull adsorbents with high specific surface area.
