Material researchers in civil engineering and environmental engineering, cooperating with microbiologists and geochemists, have recently attempted the solidification of sludge granules into sandstone-like materials employing microorganisms.
Introduction Traditionally, cement is the primary material used in engineering construction.
From the viewpoint of environmental protection and ecological sustainability, cement is expected to be replaced by other materials in engineering construction.
Currently, the interdisciplinary integration between civil and environmental engineers, microbiologists, and geochemists successfully solidified sandy soil into useful materials for road bed fill-up.

In practical engineering applications, the combination stiffness is more in line with the mechanical characteristic of the composite structure, and the calculation results are more closer to the actual situation.
This material has been applied widely abroad in engineering structure at present.
So in practical engineering applications, we can calculate the conversion stiffness first, then according to the value of in this article to calculate the combination stiffness.

Comparing to plain concrete, rubberized portland cement concrete, which is widely used in highway, bridge, railway, civil architecture and military building, has small quality and good performance of durability, shock absorption and sound insulation.
Application prospects of rubberized portland cement concrete in the projects Road engineering The application of rubberized portland cement concrete in road engineering can not only make use of waste rubber and reduce the pollution of the "black" but also Improve comfort and reduce noise pollution of urban road.
Bridge engineering Due to the reason that rubberized portland cement concrete has excellent anti-cracking resistance, toughness and aging resistance and has corrosion resistance for many chemicals, it has been widely used in bridge engineering.
Railway engineering Railway concrete sleeper has some defects that impact resistance and seismic performance is poor.
