This work aims to study the influence of Fe additions (1.5, 3.0 and 4.5wt.%) in the microstructure and properties of Ti35Nb10Ta alloy (Wt. %) obtained by powder metallurgy.
XRD patterns for different alloys studied.
Increasing the Fe addition in Ti-Ta-Fe alloys lead to a significant increase in the elastic modulus of such alloys system [15].

Introduction For the manufacture of parts operating at temperatures of 800-1150 °C, NiCr alloys of various compositions are widely used.
The higher the operating temperature of such alloys, the shorter their service life.
The aim of this work was to study the structure of diffusion coatings formed on the NiCr-alloy surface after HT of the explosion welded Cr20Ni80 + AD1 bimetal at a temperature exceeding the aluminum melting point.

In Fe(OH)2, compounds have a higher solubility yield so that it has an optimum pH at an acidic pH than Ni(OH)2 and Co(OH)2 compounds.
The main product in this study was NiSO4 compounds [25].
The formation of FeSO4 compounds corresponds to the Eq. 6.
CoSO4 compounds are formed during the leaching process according to Eq. 7 [25].
Conclusion In all pH variations, NiSO4.6H2O compounds are formed in crystallized products.

Introduction In the mushy state, alloys consist of spherical solid particles suspended in a liquid matrix.
Because compressive deformation is the main deformation style in the metalworking, and the compressive behavior of semisolid alloys is completely different from that of solid alloys due to its peculiar properties.
The aims of unconstrictive compressing test for 7A04 alloy in this paper are: firstly to identify the strain rate sensitivity of semisolid alloys; and secondly to evaluate the effect of macroscopic variables such as strain rate, deformation temperature on the stress response of the alloy and the final microstructure such as segregation of liquid phase and deformation of solid phase.
In addition, the flow behavior of semisolid alloys with equiaxed microstructure is also described.

The aim of this study is the analyses of wear mechanisms occurring during machining of Alloy 625.
These alloys belong to the most difficult to machine materials.
Hence, 18 tools were analyzed after the cutting of Alloy 625.
An XRD record of the rake face shown in Fig. 1 indicated three main compounds – WC, Al2O3 and TiN – which the cutting tool is created from.

Light and highly resistant, magnesium has been more and more included into alloys composition, especially in automotive and electronic devices.
Usual automotive applications for magnesium alloys are gearbox, cylinder head covers and other types of covers, when electronic industry uses this alloys for mobile computers and mobile phones frames (chassis).
Since this process strength resides in achieving fast production pace, the study hereafter aims to investigate the behavior of AZ31 (magnesium alloy with 3% of aluminum and 1 % of zinc) during press forming process.
