Abstract: In recent years, there were frequent earthquakes happening in China.
The national standards such as the "standards for the classification of the building engineering earthquake-proofing settings" and the "regulations for the planning and management of the urban earthquake-proofing and disaster-prevention" have been implemented in China, so as to carry out the classification of earthquake proofing and prevention, the division of the responsibilities as well as the disaster-prevention planning.
Based on this example, it can be obviously learnt that China can introduce this way and then apply the advanced theory into the practical engineering according to the actual conditions of China.

Since fair faced concrete doesn’t take patching and painting protection of later period, it’s extremely easy to absorb water and harmful ions in the environment, which will cause erosion leading to degradation and damage of fair-faced veneer when exposed in nature, easily resulting in water absorption, pollution and common deterioration phenomena such as reinforced corrosion, frozen-thaw cycle, and sulfate erosion, and alkali-aggregate reaction, etc [1] to cause major hidden danger and economic loss of engineering.
