The contact between the journal and the bearing is modeled by using a continuous impact force model.
When the journal contacts the bearing, normal and tangential impact forces are developed.
Some factors must be taken into consideration in the force model, such as account material properties, geometric characteristics and the impact velocities of the contact bodies.

Intorduction Vulcanization is a chemical process for converting rubber or related polymers into more durable materials via the addition of sulphur or other equivalent chemical known as “curatives" [1].
The vulcanized material is less sticky and has superior mechanical properties [5].
It takes more force to stretch a hard material having high tensile strength and high modulus than to stretch a soft material with low tensile strength and low modulus.

The representing journals are: ‘ASCE Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering’, ‘Automation in Construction’, ‘Advance Engineering Informatics’.
Considering construction as a converting process from the inputs (construction resources such as workers, machines and materials) into the output (as-built infrastructures), construction management can be divided into two categories: construction process surveillance for the input management and built infrastructure evaluation for the output management.
