Abstract: In order to research behaviors of unbonded prestressed concrete beams reinforced with
CFRP tendons, static load experiments on 4 partially prestressed simple beams with unbonded
CFRP tendons and 9 two spans partially prestressed concrete continuous beams with unbonded
CFRP tendons were performed.

Abstract: The stress and deformation of spiral case of Gezhouba Hydropower Station under three working conditions such as before the capacity-increasing improvement, during the disassembly of the spiral case and after the capacity-increasing improvement are calculated by three dimensional FEM..the reinforcement plan of spiral case is proposed based on the above calculation results and also analyzed by three dimensional FEM.

Introduction
Nondestructive testing techniques as diagnostic tools in structural mechanics have received great
attention in the engineering communities in last decades.
There are good reasons for this interest: firstly, the mechanical system consisting of a single beam describes the behavior of many structures which are important both for the civil and mechanical engineering field; secondly, the problem of identifying a crack in a beam gives rise to the basic diagnostic problem and, therefore, it represents an important benchmark to test the accuracy of identification techniques.
