It is an international accepted definition that engineering is an application branch of science.
For nearly 20 years, the definition of modern engineering which being gradually accepted is given by Massachusetts Institute, i.e. engineering is one creative profession in respect of scientific knowledge and technology development and application which meet the social needs within the limits of materials, economy, labor, politics, laws and culture.
Therefore, this major includes a series of major courses, including mechanical cartography, theoretical mechanics, mechanics of materials, mechanical principle, mechanical design, fluid mechanics of chemical engineering, principle and application of thermodynamics, design of process equipment, equipment manufacturing process and technology of process equipment complete.
During the 2nd year, the importance of engineering practice course system is metalworking practice as well as theoretical mechanics and mechanics of materials.

Introduction In reliability test and failure detection of materials, the complete data of samples are difficult to obtain and how to deal with the incomplete data is a hot issue [1].
Most data acquired from reliability test of materials, including censored data and grouped data, are incomplete and the distribution type is often unknown.
For example, when people study the mean lifetime of some insulating materials in a given temperature, they only know the lifetime is over 500 hours; thus they set time points for monitoring in the test, and the number of failure samples in each time interval could be obtained, but the accurate failure time of each sample is unknown.
The results of the data indicate that the K-S test based on survival ratio method is fairly effective in the medium sized sample and deserves popularization in practical application of material testing and failure detection of materials.

Effect of the fixation treatment on the staining results of reactive dyes for dyeing bamboo Chun Wang1, Xianjun Li1, 2*, Yun Li, Xiyi Cheng, Xia He 1School of Materials Science & Engineering, Central South University of Forestry & Technology, Changsha China yuwuxiaabc@163.com Xianjun Li1, 2* 2Hunan Provincial Engineering Research Center of Bamboo Industry Central South University of Forestry & Technology Changsha, China lxjmu@163.com Keywords: Bamboo, reactive dyes, fixing process, dyeing rate, Fixation rate Abstract: In this article, the crushed bamboo bundles were pre-treated with dilute alkali were used as raw materials and then treated with reactive dyes.
Fixation treatment is one of the indispensable steps in the dyeing process of bamboo [3], which plays the important effect on the staining results of reactive dyes for dyeing bamboo, can effectively promote the combination of theory and practice of bamboo dyeing, and provide guidance for practical production. Ⅱ MATERIALS AND METHODS A Material 1) material for 3-4 years nanzhu(bamboo), at first, cutting out the green and yellow section, then rolling relief processed into 100 mm besides bamboo beam, after that, treating with 2.1% NaOH in temperatures of 100 ℃ for 2 h, finally drying to the moisture content is below 10% for prepare. 2) Dyes for B type reactive dyes, mixing up with distilled water at the mixture mass fraction of 0.1% dye solution for later use. 3) Chemical reagents including Na2SO4, fixing agent Na2CO3 and reactive dyes special soap lotion D - 8600.
