The Fatigue Strength Assessment for Hull Structure of Steel Fishing Vessel Gaosheng Yang1,a, Yonghe Xie2,b 1Fishery School & Maritime School, Zhejiang Ocean University, Zhoushan, China, 316000 2Schools of Naval Architecture and Civil Engineering, Zhejiang Ocean University, Zhoushan, China, 316000 aygs2008@126.com, bxieyhtoccs@sina.com Keywords: Ocean trawler; Fatigue strength assessment; Finite element analysis;Hull structure Abstract.
According to the engineering experiences and reference the fatigue strength assessment calculation rules of other mature ship types, and considering the structure characteristics of steel fishing vessel, during the operating time, alternating loads induced by waves on the ship's central area amplitude is the largest, so the high-risk areas of fatigue about the steel fishing vessel main occurred in the middle of the ship for cabin area too, this area of the wave vertical bending moments and horizontal bending moments are the largest, there are also higher local deformation stress at midship, and the longitudinal bending stress level of longitudinal component hull is higher.
