The paper presents results obtained during low velocity impact tests, performed on sandwich materials of different types.
Description of the experimental work The materials used for the impact tests were sandwich materials having honeycomb or foam cores, and were described in the twin paper [3], where the bending behaviour was described.
The next series of low velocity impact tests were made on samples having similar core materials, but thick skins [3].
Discussion and conclusions The analysis of the quite diverse results obtained during the experiments involving four types of sandwich materials outlines the complexity of the low velocity impact phenomenon on sandwich materials and the need of careful assessment.

The results show that Copper (Cu) as an electrode material effectively influences the enhancement of an EHD drying process.
However, none of these studies focused on the material of discharge and collector electrodes for their collective effectiveness in enhancing the drying processes.
The present research focuses on evaluating Copper (Cu) as an effective electrode material for generating the corona discharge to enhance drying.
