These composite materials can be widely applied to aerospace engineering, shipbuilding, building construction, chemical engineering, medical science, electronic engineering, agriculture and many other military and civilian areas.[4] CBF can be used in place of E fiber glass and part of the S fiber glass in most of the areas.
Basalt fiber composite material is different from other composite materials with outstanding acid, through the wave of the advantages and excellent value for money, so basalt fiber composite materials could be considered to replace the E glass fiber composite materials and S-2 glass fiber composite materials in composite materials ship building in the future.
