Case Studies A problem with the following dimensions and material properties has been studied. 2a=24mm t=2mm ts=1mm B=2mm x0=1.5a L=0.8a Es=72100N/mm2 E=72100N/mm2 σ=2.5N/mm2 where E is Young's Modules of the plate, x0 is the stiffener location, L is the half stiffener length.
The effect of stiffener on crack is affected by all the factors including material parameter and geometry parameter of the stiffener and plate.

It is well known when grain size of the materials decrease to nanoscale or sub-micron, material properties tend to become isotropic, which improves the material surface hardness and strength effectively.
Thus, the scholars have widely studied the method of material surface nanometer and properties of nanocrystallization materials.
Barbucci[10]、Vinogradov[11]and Balyanov[12] found that with the degree increase of the surface crystallization, grain size of materials gradually decreased, grain boundary volume increased, and corrosion rate was accelerated.
