At present ninety-five present of Aluminum alloy extrusion is Al-Mg-Si alloy since the Al-Mg-Si alloy have high corrosion resistence, excellent welding properties, moderate intensity, easy to squeeze into a variety of complex hollow profiles, and the Al-Mg-Si alloys can be used as lightweight materials in buildings, vehicles, ships, containers, bridge guardrail, and so forth.
During superplastic deformation the materials will produce a large number of micro-defects, such as dislocation, vacancy and micro-voids and so on.
Material and methods A DC cast of the Al–Si–Mg alloy billet with 110mm diameter was produced.

The majority of performance problems are related to shrinkage cracking and this cause accelerated materials degradation and premature pavement failure.
