Earth reinforcement is an ancient stabilization method for developing environmentally friendly building materials, which not only attracts the attention of researchers but has been widely used in civil engineering and construction [21, 22].
But to date, studies on the valorization of its fiber as reinforcement in the production of earth bricks for construction are still in progress and this gives an insight on the significant potential to propose to construction engineer’s bio-sourced bricks reinforced with bambusa valugaris fibers.

In the University of São Paulo (USP), the first visited lab was Civil Construction Lab (LCC) of the Architecture and Urbanism Institute (IAU).
The second visited lab was Structure Lab (LE) of the Department of Structure Engineering of the Engineering School of São Carlos (EESC), also inside USP.
It is the Road Lab of the Department of Transport Engineering, also of the EESC USP.
Another place that was recommended a visit, this time by Road Lab (EESC USP) technician, was the Ceramic Lab of the Department of Materials Engineering (DEMa), this one belonging to another school, the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).

Machines in diverse fields such as mechanical engineering [7–10], transportation [11–14], and mining [15–18] are constantly being developed to enhance their safety, reliability, and efficiency.
ECRs can be efficiently used as head or balancing ropes in hoisting installations, as belts in conveyor transportation systems, and as stay ropes in industrial or civil structures and buildings.
