The polycarboxylate superplasticizer was used in mortar and concrete, of which the solid ratio was 40% and water reduction rate was 37%.
Since the density and specific surface area of rGFRP (1.71 g/cm3 and 1.59 g/cm3) was lower than silica sand (2.65 g/cm3), large substitution of sand with rGFRP resulted significant reduction of mortars’ density.
In addition, the difference among all the detection points for each sample set was amplified, in term of the increased standard deviation of each data set, as illustrated in Fig. 11.

Simulations of delamination under fatigue loading are performed and results are successfully compared with reported experimental data on HTA/6376C unidirectional material.
Under fatigue loading conditions, this problem becomes more severe and can cause dramatic reduction of the load carrying capability of the laminated structures.

The monotonic tests were conducted at supersolvus temperatures of 1066 or 1177°C and strain rates of 0.005 or 0.1 s-1 to a height reduction between 2:1 and 4:1; following compression, each sample was either water quenched immediately or allowed to undergo metadynamic recrystallization (MDRX) /grain growth for times between 30 s and 30 min.
In order to simulate production cogging practices, interrupted tests were performed at identical test temperatures and strain rates (to a total reduction of 3:1) using dwell times of 20, 30, or 60 s between imposed strain increments of 0.15.
