By introducing the reduction coefficient of concrete strength and the equivalent restriction reduction coefficient,the non-uniform confinement force of square steel tube to its core concrete is turned to that of equivalent circular steel tube.
Therefore,on the basis of references[7], this paper tries to study the mechanical properties of SMTCC short columns(CHS inner and SHS outer) by introducing the concrete strength reduction factor, the equivalence restraint reduction factor and using equivalent principle.

Sufficient number of experiments was conducted based on the small central composite design (CCD) concept of RSM to generate tool life data for the selected machining variables.
Meanwhile, a time trend was observed in residual values between model predictions and experimental data, reflecting little deviations in tool life prediction.
A very good performance of the RSM model, in terms of agreement with experimental data, was achieved.
Table 5: Percentage reduction of tool wear in preheated machining at a temperature of 335 0C during end milling using TiAlN coated carbide insert.
The reduction of tool wear was found to fall in the range of 35 to 56%.

The present data have revealed the presence in the deformed substructure of a crystallite volume that has rotated towards the {311}<136> component in the interior of <110>//RD fibre grains as a result of a grain fragmentation process.
In total there were 12 rolling passes with an average reduction per pass of 7%.
They depicted the existence of different substructures within the a-fibre type based on different reductions in IF steel.
More extensive data gathering is required in combination with a more fundamental theoretical analysis on the basis of crystal plasticity model.
