Abstract Powder injection moulding (PIM) is a process that is suitable for fabrication of small and complex shape components.
It consists of 4 main steps: feedstock preparation by mixing powder and binder, injection moulding of the prepared feedstock into the desired mould, removal of the binder and finally sintering to obtain materials with specific properties.
The PEG based binders have been successfully used with a variety of materials such as tungsten carbide-cobalt hardmetals and stainless steel composites [4-6].
The support from Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University is also acknowledged.
The authors would like to thank Automotive Laboratory, National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) for the equipment support.

Fretting wear is the removal of material from contacting
surfaces through fretting action.
The materials for the tubes usually are INCONEL 690 (I-690) and INCONEL 600 (I-600).
The tube specimens are I-600, and I-690 of steam generator tube materials (length: 60mm, diameter: 19.1mm, thickness: 1mm).
The counterpart material is stainless steel of AISI 304.

From the perspective of material science, dynamic-static friction ratio is supposed to necessarily be identical or constant for a material, however, in many cases, natural soil deposits commonly contain laminated infillings or interbeds, by which the dynamic-static friction ratio are caused to be diversified.
Dynamic side friction can be investigated without considering the materials of pile.
