The urgency of a high temperature brazing becomes apparent when nondetachable joints of dissimilar materials are created, such as graphite, ceramics, refractory metals, heat resistant steels, and nickel and titanium alloys, i.e. materials that are most commonly used in modern energy-intensive techniques.

And it is also complex to calculate the pushing force at arch abutment on dam abutment rock, because the uncertain factors as water pressure, sediment, variable temperatures and materials parameters are contained.
R is resistance which is the mechanical characteristic of materials themselves.
Its statistical parameters usually can be obtained directly form test materials.
It often is the function of some characteristic of loads and materials.

Introduction
Adhesive joints are commonly employed in advanced structures due to requirements of lightweight materials, especially in automotive and aerospace industries.
A comprehensive understanding of the fatigue fracture process is needed in addressing reliability issues of adhesive joints, which is influenced by many different factors including adhesive layer thickness, different joining materials and loading conditions and exposure to environmental condition.

There are two ways can be done: using the materials with higher dielectric constant K and the reduction of the dielectric layer thickness.
In the Duke patent application, the PCB chip production step includes[12]: 1) Select common PCB board as a substrate; 2) Pattern the outermost conductive copper layer of PCB to form electrodes; 3) Using solder mask material (or other dielectric materials) to insulate the electrode; 4) As an alternative procedure, single-step hydrophobic layer can be applied to PCB, in order to promote droplet transmission.
