The authors were fortunate to have taken part in the professional evaluation of this project, and on the basis of a summary of work experiences, put forward some factors to be emphatically taken into account in creating green buildings, as well as associated precautions, which serve as a reference for future endeavors in creating green buildings.
This project selected a solar energy collection system to supply domestic hot water heated by using thermal radiation of solar energy, augmented by the additional heat source of return water of the geothermal heat pump system in adverse weather conditions.
Its designed water temperature is above 55 °C with a daily water supply of 30 tonnes, which meets the basic requirement of hot water supply in this school.
As to plant irrigation, water-efficient and high-performance irrigation modes such as sprinkler irrigation, micro-irrigation, etc. were adopted, which save water resources.
This is because, on one hand, the green building itself contains much new equipment and systems that need professionals to operate, maintain, and repair; while on the other hand, for a green building, what is to be taken into account is the full life cycle of the building itself, and many operation details have to be strengthened by the corresponding operation management party: the green technology taken into account in the preliminary design phase would be virtually useless without support of the property management agency.

According to the energy professional assessed estimates, each year the ineffective domestic cooled water wasted in the whole country can reach at least more than 100 tons, which is equivalent to five medium waterworks’ year-round water yield.
Design Structure and Working Principle This system mainly consists of hot water pipe, temperature sensor, control switch, water-saving box, pressure-regulated suction device, water-mixing valve and cold water pipe.
Then through pressure-regulated suction device 5 the water in water-saving box will go into the water-mixing valve 7 meanwhile the cold water from cold water pipe 8 will go into it too.
There they will mix again with hot water from hot water pipe 12 and goes to solenoid valves 1 and 2 to go either out of shower nozzle or into water-saving box.
It makes it possible in the negative pressure area to imbibe the water in water-saving box with atm press to go into the water pipe
