With the machine technology, high-speed cutting technology development and application of the need, the performance of electric spindle spindle put forward higher request, the development trend of the technology of electric spindle for high speed, high precision, high power and high efficiency[1-3].In order to fundamentally solve this kind of problem, need to use the new theory, technology and materials to design and manufacture electric spindle.
Use high-performance structure ceramic as high-speed electric spindle of spindle, bearings and other major of rotating parts material, mainly use ceramic materials with high hardness and high density is small, small thermal expansion coefficient and the elastic modulus big advantages, can make the new type of the ceramic electric spindle running speed is high temperature or obtained a series of small, stiffness big fine characteristic.
(3)Use ceramic material as motorized spindle bearings, spindle etc rotating parts material, can improve overall electric spindle, make its dynamic performance of a more suitable for high speed, high precision machining area.
