Blending of thermoplastic elastomers usually leads to immiscibility and the desired properties are not achieved without a third component used as compatibilizing agents, which is able to mediate an attractive interaction between the phases of these materials [2].
NR has been used as a second phase polymer to toughen brittle thermoplastics, in which NR particles are involved in various energy absorption mechanisms resulting in materials with improved toughness properties [4].
Materials The natural rubber used in this study was NR (STR 5L) and ENR-50 were manufactured by Union Rubber Product Corporation Co., Ltd. and Muang Mai Guthrie Public Co., Ltd.
