With the rapid development of economy, more and more steel structures are applied to bridge engineering.
Especially in urban bridge engineering, a new combination of beam-arch, beam and arch combining in transverse direction of bridge, has been invented and more and more used besides the conventional combination form of beam and arch combining in longitudinal direction of bridge, which is more beautiful but also more complicated for design and construction.
The excellence design, graceful figure, advanced technology, giving dagu bridge a high reputation.

The fatigue life of parts in the engineering practice is estimated using Wohler (SN) curves and Goodman diagrams.
This will further ease and promote the incorporation of the residual stress in the fatigue life calculations and make the data more accessible for practical engineering use.

Introduction Induction hardening is a technical important manufacturing process for automotive and other large scale engineering components [1].
The equipment SALSA at ILL, is well suited for strain measurements in the bulk of large engineering components, but also enables measurements near a surface [5, 6].
This provides a diffraction angle near 90° for most engineering relevant metallic materials.

Malaysia participated in different forums about nanotechnology [7].
The vision for nanotechnology in the forest products is to sustainably meet the needs of present and future generations for wood-based materials and products by applying nanotechnology science and engineering to efficiently and effectively capture the entire range of values that wood-based lignocellulosic materials are capable of providing [9].
Among the many possibilities suggested to date for new woodfibre-based products incorporating nanomaterials are moisture-resistant cell-phone components, advanced membranes and filters, improved loudspeaker cones, and additives for paints, coatings, and adhesives [11].

Therefore, HEAs are expected to be attractive new structural materials in engineering applications and have attracted increasing interest in recent years.
Thus it would appear that advanced laser cladding technology [8], which generates rapid solidfication rate, may be a suitable method for producing the HEAs as future engineering material.
