Fig. 1 Schematic diagram of the downer mixer [9]
In this work, the discrete element method (DEM), which has proven to be a simple and effective tool for simulating granular materials [10-14], is employed to investigate the heat transfer of two particulate materials in such mixers to optimize their interior structure.
DEM Model DEM was first developed for rock mechanics [15, 16], and then for bulk materials at large.
Particulate materials with different size and/or density and temperature are fed at the sides on the top, respectively.
To enhance the mixing and also heat transfer between the two materials, baffles are installed on both sides of the downer in a stagger way.

Bioactivity is an important aspect in biomaterial science ensuring materials used are safe for clinical application.
Introduction Biomaterial science stressed on biocompatibility and progressive interaction between composite materials and cells with desired properties for various applications [1].
Another major group of biomaterials, bioceramics, such as hydroxyapatite, calcium phosphate and bioactive glasses (BG), is being utilized to yield osteoconductivity within bioinert polymeric materials [5].

The range of sheet materials used in the vehicle industry is very broad: manufacturers can choose the most suitable materials for a given purpose from a wide selection of materials, and it is also common to use sheets of several types of materials, with different thicknesses and physical and chemical properties, within a structural element.
The applied flow curves of the materials are based on measurements.

It is the reason why high quality insulation materials are being used.
In many countries vacuum insulations were implemented as insulation materials in buildings.
Some research results published in specialist journals show that natural fibers (plant, animal) can be successfully used for the production of the core materials of VIPs [17].
Conclusion The aim of the research was to verify the possibility of using environmentally friendly insulating materials based on natural or waste fibers for use as core materials in vacuum insulating panels.

Phosphorus binding by poorly crystalline iron-oxides are known in earth science as well as in material science.
In material science, uses and implications of this iron – phosphate bond is numerous.
Materials and methods Natural apatite crystals exposed to meteoric weathering were used for this study, together with their associated weathering products.

Through the exposure of these cases, we suggest recommendations for the non-conventional materials situation.
The third part consists of recommendations for the development of standards in the field of non-conventional materials The Need of Regulation to Create a Market.
As the main client was the public authorities, the definition of standards authorized mentioning these new materials in the public call for tenders.
Conclusion From an institutionalist economists’ perspective, the development of non-conventional materials market supposes the definition of standards.
In the non-conventional materials situation, who is going to play this role?
