N N Zorev at al. thought, through the investigations of elasticity and plasticity, and fracture as well on it, that vibration machining has resulted from functions of conventional machining and shock and dynamic load.
Liu Shichuan at al. analyzed the axial vibration drilling, and explained that the dynamic cyclic angle change led to cyclic change of the searing plane angle, and vibration with high frequency resulted in the rigidifying and resting of the tool, all these improved the cutting condition.

The smallest burrs height formation at the hole edge was reported by Rivero et al. [9] when increasing the feed rate during the drilling process.
It then being supported by Ramulu et al. [2] and Kim et al. [1] who revealed that, by increasing the feed rate, it may reduce both the entrance and exit burr height on drilling Graphite-Bismaleimide/Ti stack up material.
In one different study, Zhang et al. [4] observed that the design with two major cutting edges with shorter chisel edge has better cutting performance compared to the traditional twist drill.
