The raw materials were submitted to carbonization employing a household microwave (Panasonic NN6460A) at 800W.
Notice that for CG and CH the n parameter is close to one, indicating an adsorption behavior typical of microporous materials.
Conclusions Coffee and pequi husks, and spent coffee grounds were tested as precursor materials in the production of activated carbons.

There is a growing interest in finding Pb-free ferroelectric materials which are more environmental friendly but showing excellent ferroelectric properties similar to well investigated Pb-based ferroelectric material such as PbTiO3 [4-5].
One of the promising Pb-free materials which have been recently investigated is SnTiO3 (ST) [6-7].

Modern car interiors are largely composed of polymers, plastics and other synthetic materials, all of which are flammable.
It is easy to cause short circuit and then generate high temperature or produce electrical arcing all which can ignite surrounding flammable materials.
Exhaust manifolds and components can generate sufficient temperatures to ignite surrounding materials such as fuel spray, vaporized gasoline and the grass under the car
Catalytic converter failure can generate temperatures high enough to ignite surrounding materials.
The extensive use of flame-resistant materials especially around common ignition sources can prevent the spreading of the flame and hot gas well

Abstract: The melt grafting of maleic anhydride (MAH) onto poly (3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydrox-ybutyrate)[P(3HB-co-4HB)]/polylactic acid(PLA) blends were carried out via reactive extrusion.
Experimental Materials P(3HB-co-4HB) copolymer which contains 9.85 mol% 4HB used in our experiments was supplied by Green Biological Material Co.Ltd.from Tianjin, China.
Then the tensile strengths of the samples were measured with a computer-operated materials testing machine (Shenzhen Sans Model CMT4503,China) according to ASTM D638-08.
Journal of Materials Engineering &Technology, 1993, 17(4): 129-137
Chinese Journal of Applied Chemistry, 2001, 18(11): 865-868.
