With the increasing use of complex multiphase scaffold materials composed of many separate polymeric and ceramic constituents, there exists a need for the simultaneous simulation of the hydrolysis degradation of multiple polymeric phase materials, where each phase may display different degradation behavior.

The relation between ratio of material (rice husk powder to cationic etherification agent powder) and the turbidity removal is shown in Table 1.
Material ratio has an important influence upon the reaction.
Table 1 The relation between material ratio (rice husk powder to cationic etherification agent) and turbidity removal Material reatio 2:1 1:1 2:3 1:2 Turbidity removal(%) 78.6 89.3 92.1 92.0 Conclusions In this paper, a natural polymer cationic flocculant was prepared by modifying rice husk with OTAC and its removal of turbidity was tested by diatomite flocculent experiment.

One area of interest has been to use the fibers for reinforcement in cement based materials.
Material Materials of high strength to weight ratio can be produced by incorporating fibers in a ductile matrix.

The stress at the tip of a sharp crack has the highest stress which can lead to failure on the material.
We consider the human femur bone as an isotropic linear elastic material so that we can calculate the amount of the stress intensity factor () at the crack tip using stress singularity calculations.
If there are two different materials found in the singularity problem, we do not only consider the elastic constant and local geometry of the material, but we also have to account for the deformation mode [4].

Materials and Methods Approximately 200 g of fresh mammary tissue was obtained from a Chinese Holstein dairy cow in mid-lactation (4-6 months post-partum) within 30 min after slaughtered and transported to the lab in 500 ml Hank’s balanced salt solution (HBSS) containing Ca2+, Mg2+, penicillin G (100 μg/ml),streptomycin (100 μg/ml), gentamicin (100 μg/ml), and Fungizone (5 μg/ml; BioWhittaker) at 20 °C.
