At a certain position of the circular disturbance body provide value pressure drop reduction on narrow channels and drag reduction when compared to a single circular cylinder.
From the experimental data presented in this paper it is observed that the position angle of circular disturbance body to reduce drag force on a circular cylinder and reducing the pressure drop in the channel are at angle 200 and 300 for D=25 mm, and 200, 300 and 400, respectively, for D= 37.5 mm then the best reduction for both cylinders are at an angle of 300.
Then be validated using the pressure transducer Omega PX-655 and data acquisition DAQPRO Omega-5300.
Then at α=200 minor head loss value reduction occurs at Reynolds number variation of 11.6×104 to 15.6×104.
In the experiment of single cylinder and its configuration, the value of the pressure coefficient distributions obtained from pressure measurements at two pressure taps were placed on the contour angle 00 and 1800 mid-span section of a circular cylinder with a collection of data every change of rotation angle of 50.

The best low-frequency noise reduction is located below the pylon where peak noise reduction is as high as about 1.3dB on frequency spectrum.

All the acoustic data are collected on the hot jet noise rig located in the anechoic chamber, shown in Figure 1.
The microphone array which consists of seven microphones has the ability of capturing data at jet directivity angles ranging from 0 to 180 degree and the top of the pylon is defined as 0 degree.
The highest jet noise reduction in these experimental data is as high as 1.2dB located under the pylon.
