Based on field investigation of flood damage for several road sections along river in the Southern Shaanxi Province and the research materials [4, 5], the flood damage of highway subgrade along river in Qin-Ba Mountainous Area can be mainly divided into three types according to the causes.
Prevention measures for highway subgrade flood damage along river in the Qin-Ba Mountainous Area should be accommodated to local topography, geomorphology, ecological environment, and local conditions and materials.
