It is worth to mention the capital investment of approximately 187.26 billion AMD, 77.16 billion of which was invested in the sphere of drinking water and 110.1 billion AMD was aimed at irrigation objectives (120 million USD granted for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-Armenia project implementation included) in the sphere of drinking and irrigation water supply via mortgage and grant projects according to 2002-2012 data of State Committee on Water Economy adjacent to the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Territorial Administration (Table 1).
Methods and Results The most important achievements of the water sphere due to investments are the 1. modernization of drinking and irrigation systems; 2. restoration of Marmarik reservoir; 3. continuity of private management of closed joint-stock companies such as the “Armenian Water Sewerage Company”, “Lori-Water Sewerage Company”, “Shirak-Water Sewerage Company” and “Nor Akunq” CJSC. 4. energy saving by almost 50% compared to 2002 data; 5. construction realization of sewerage cleaning stations in Gavar, Martuni and Vardenis towns and well as construction of sewerage network of around 50km; 6.
This will promote the reduction of water loss increasing water supply efficiency as well as improve the management of transported water by eliminating the filtration phenomena causing damages in the residential areas.
The latter will contribute to the cultivation of high value crop, reduction of agricultural production costs and improvement of water consumers’ payability.

Based on the cost and efficiency consideration, the bioaerosol reduction using a diluted water-soluble chitosan solution for a long-term treatment was practical.
Some studies have reported the use of chitosan as coagulant or fl˚Cculant for the removal of suspended colloids and as bactericides for bacteria reduction [5].
The removal efficiency ranged from 99.97-100% (data not shown).
The size of the inhibition zone caused by water-soluble chitosan was equal to that caused by 10 ppm of Streptomycin (data not shown).
Based on the cost consideration, the bioaerosol reduction using a diluted water-soluble chitosan for a long-term period was practical.
