Wear Experiment Project By the wear experiment of electroless nickel plating, wear mechanisms of cylinder hardening materials are studied and surface hardening technology of engine cylinder is analyzed.
The values of the materials are bigger than critical values.
According to the three-dimensional of wear loss, the relations between the relative speed and pressure of piston ring and cylinder wall and wear loss of materials are analyzed synthetically.
This explains that the two kinds of materials have a good match.

For the efficient development of lightweight structures realistic models for anisotropic materials are necessary.
For quasi-statically loaded anisotropic materials failure models e. g. by PUCK and CUNTZE are available [2, 3].
