Introduction Nickel-based superalloys are materials normally used for production of turbine blades used in the first stages of gas turbines working especially at high temperatures.
After EB remelting of the materials some new phases appeared (Fig. 5-b).

Introduction

Because of its superior properties of high specific strength, high thermal strength and good anti-corrosion performance, titanium alloy is considered one of the most promising structural materials in aeronautics, astronautics and chemical industries.
Experimental Materials TC4 (Ti6A14V: 6.7 wt.% Al, 4.21 wt.% V, 0.01 wt.% Fe, 0.14 wt.% O, 0.02 wt.% N, 0.03 wt.% C, and balance Ti) with a size of 40 mm×20 mm×1 mm was used as the substrate.
