The reflectance became minimum when the length arrive at 50% of wavelength, it get maximum when size reach 90% of wavelength, then it has a small decrease till 100%. 1.Introduction Magnetostrictive guided wave detection technology is based on the theory of magnetostrictive effect of ferromagnetic materials.When ferromagnetic material effected by an external magnetic field, the dimensions is changed and the magnetostrictive strain is produced.The magnetostrictive effect is the inherent characteristics of the ferromagnetic materials.
