The reaction activity of 4-ethyloctanoic acid is weak, so 4-ethyloctanoyl chloride (EOC) was used as the starting material.
In the course of experiments, we found that reaction temperature, different mole ratio of materials and reaction time had some effect on the yield of benzyl 4-ethyloctanoate.
The mole ratio of materials has greater influence on the yield of ester, so the effects of mole ratio of materials on the yield were investigated under the reaction condition of a reaction time of 3.5h and a reaction temperature of 85°C.
Effect of different mole ratio of materials on the yield.

However, the characteristics of TC11, high
hardness and low thermal conductivity make it a difficult-to-cut material.

Introduction
Surface and interface of the material have a decisive influence on overall performance, roughness and wettability are an important surface properties for bamboo and fir veneer, which directly impact on bamboo, fir and bonding properties of composite materials.
Wettability is an important interface features of solid materials, there are many factors impact on wettability, including the microscopic properties of wood (such as surface roughness, moisture, texture, extract, etc.), wood surface quality, temperature and adhesive properties.
Experiment and Results 1.1 Materials and equipment 1) Material: bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel ex H.de Lebaie), 6 years old, produced in Chongyi County, Jiangxi Province, density of 0.65 g/cm3; fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.)

In the current study, FSP was investigated for the manufacture of localized zones of composite materials made by the emplacement of a second phase into cast A206 Al alloy matrix.
Effects of multi-pass-FSP (up to two passes) and the amount of the reinforcement material were investigated.
The homogenous distribution of Ta powders was attributed to: (1) particle encapsulation – the top of the slot was closed by a cover prior to FSP, which ensured powders were well confined in the slot and driven by the movement of the matrix materials during FSP;(2) sufficient input heat - input heat was high enough to ensure adequate materials flow, by which the reinforced particles were easily wrapped and moved around the tool; (3) complete contact between particles and the tool - the FSP tool was made up of two parts: a flat shoulder and a screwed probe at the end of the shoulder.
