The possibility of obtaining welded joints of large thickness parts using EBW with the evaluation of mechanical properties is shown, as well as dissimilar compounds of steel and composite on the basis of tungsten and bronze.
The optimal modes of electron beam treatment are picked up and the microstructure of the obtained compounds is investigated confirming their quality.
At the same time when welding these materials, there are no serious obstacles to the liquid phase connection caused by the formation of brittle intermetallic compounds [4, 5].
A known problem in welding of copper and copper-based alloys with steel is the penetration of liquid copper into steel leading to cracking.

In addition, adhesive compounds are time-consuming because of required curing processes and are generally exposed to aging [5; 6].
The aim of an innovative project is to join CFRP/metal-combinations using the semi-solid forming technique which exploits the properties of non-eutectic alloys.
Results and Discussion In the framework of these basic experiments, two aluminium alloys and one steel alloy are used.
The complex grid structure of these compounds impedes dislocation movements, so the carbides show brittle behaviour in terms of tensile tests.

Dispersion-hardened coatings with a metal matrix based on refractory wear resistant compounds (carbides, nitrides, carbonitrides, borides) are most popular for broadening the spectrum of structural applications under energy-intensive operating conditions.
A special place among such compounds is taken by oxygen-free refractory compounds of transition metals of IV-VI groups of the periodic system with carbon and boron.
