This model is able to well describe the mechanical properties of brittle materials such as ceramic, glass, rock, et al.
In this work, granite, silica float glass and Al2O3 ceramic are selected as the coarse aggregate materials.
For the unconfined compressive strength is not contained in JH-2, to quantize the strength of three different aggregate materials, single element simulation of unconfined uniaxial compressive test was conducted.
The change of stress versus strain of the three aggregate materials in the single element simulation of unconfined uniaxial compressive test is shown in Fig 3.
