These results will provide theoretical basis for the design and application of SiC materials.

Depending on the types of metallic materials, this value is approximately ten to fourteen orders of magnitude higher than the diffusion coefficient in metallic materials.
This kind of thin film materials is commercially available and can be generally found in packaging industry.
