The third principle, an anisotropic texture of the support plate, is exploited by Mitani et al. on linear vibratory transport of small electrical components [8-12].
We conduct the experiments for different size micro-part’s length l = 0.4mm, 1.0mm on the uniform sub-millimeter saw-tooth surfaces which are fabricated accurately Mitani at el. [15].

This finding is consistent with that of Espinosa et al. [12], who also found that during wear test, WC phase undergoes fracture, fragmentation and pull out of microfragments.
Similar to the result obtained by Asl et. al. [17], the wear mechanism of WC-17Co deposits shows to be sharp cutting abrasion.
These results are consistent with those of Espinosa et al. [12], that coatings with higher hardness enhanced the wear resistance of the surface material.
