Synthesis and characterization of biphenylnate liquid crystalline polyurethanes Jian-feng Ban, Shao-rong Lua and Chen-xi Zhang Institute of Material Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, 541004, China a gllushaorong@glite.edu.cn Keywords: Liquid crystal polyurethane; Thermotropic; Phase transition temperature Abstract.
Introduction In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, there has been increased interest in synthesis of new liquid crystal materials.
Even though polyurethanes contribute to a broad spectrum of applications, liquid crystalline behavior in these materials is a recent development [5].

The raw materials market, including for quartz, is today highly globalized.
To date it has been common mining practice to extract material first and then classify it according to quality.
The images clearly identify the locations of materials in the vein, whether silicon metal, ferrosilicon, aggregate or kaolin.

However, equiaxed grains were exhibited through annealing, there was lattice dislocation at the grain boundaries, hindering materials’ plastic deformation, making materials’ hardness increase[11].All mentioned above made the hardness of TO1 and TO2 states higher than O states.

Introduction Iron-based composites reinforced with hard ceramic particles are a new class of advanced materials proposed mainly as wear-resistant parts.
As a result, there has much difference for the surface generation mechanism and morphology of this composite compared with that of ordinary monolithic metallic materials.

Introduction With the development of science and technology and the improvement of industrial automation, especially the extension of the scope of electromagnetic technology, large-scale electrical components and electrical equipments are growing needed in industrial application, and the friction are served in the electromagnetic conditions [1-2].
Since the majority of friction pairs materials are magnetic steel in actual working condition, so many features of steel materials will be changed under the effect of magnetic field [3-4],such as increasing the adsorption capacity and oxidation capacity to wear debris, as well as improving the strength of magnetic material and so on [5].The temperature and the normal pressure between friction pairs are important working conditions parameters in the research, but the study on the normal load effect on the temperature rise is rare.

Introduction With high-strength, lightweight materials be widely used in the frame structure, the deformation of bars represents the strong nonlinear, such as large displacement, large rotation and so on (strain remained within the elastic range), especially for large span, heavy load, and the towering truss structures, this phenomenon is more obvious.
(3) The material of beam element is isotropic linear elastic, and follows the generalized Hooke’s law.
