On one hand, it greatly reduces the conditions water pressure, on the other hand, it offsets the cutting shortage of pure water jet, and it is mainly used in cutting hard materials.
Some related studies indicate that it can cut more than 500 kinds of materials.
It can be used to cut marble, granite, ceramic, glass, cement component, etc, in the construction industry; to cut special materials (such as titanium alloy, carbon fire composite, laminated metal or reinforced plastic glass), plane blades, etc, in the aerospace industry; to cut a variety of non-metallic materials and composite materials, such as car glass, internal decoration board, rubber, plastic gas box, instrument panels, carpet, asbestos brake linings, etc, in the automobile manufacturing industry; to cut a variety of tank armor plate, crawler, bulletproof glass, car body, turret, firearms, etc, in ordnance industry; to cut something that hard to be cut such as abrasion resistant white iron castings [6].

However, the surface roughness tends to decrease with the increase in cutting speed when cutting of ductile materials.
In this study, 45# carbon steel (0.45% carbon) and cast iron were selected as the workpiece materials.
From this figure, it can be seen that the cutting speeds have the same effects on surface roughness for the two kinds of tool materials.
In machining of cast iron, PCBN and Si3N4 based ceramics are most commonly used tool materials [9].

Using superfine TiC particle and Ni-based powder as raw materials, the high-temperature wear resistant cladding reinforced by TiC on the friction surface of rope clamp splint could be made by laser cladding technology, which would greatly improve the service life of rope clamp in elevator.
Fig. 1 Sketch map of elevator rope clamp and laser cladding process Material and Methods 45 steel was used as matrix material in the experiment.
During the deformation process, there would be a great stress concentration at the interface of coarse carbide, and micro-cracks were easy to expand, which would easily lead to brittle cracking of cladding layer and significantly reduce the strength of materials.

Abstract: Friction plug welding, a recent variation of friction welding is a process of joining of two similar or dissimilar materials.
Heat flux generation at intermediate surface is computed due to friction between the materials considering the co-efficient of friction.
Pre-heating of materials is varied in the certain range to find its effect on the temperature profile in the work piece.

In the industrial and civil building, it is served as building materials of projects of the pavement, plaster, and waterproof, and in water conservancy, roads and other specific professional, it is a kind of compression structure carried loads.
However, adding aggregate in the cement mortar is a kind of important approach[1-10], e.g. the Study on Mechanical Properties and Working Performances of Cement Mortar Mixed with Waste Glass Power[1]is one important study achievement, which can improve the mechanical properties of cement mortar recycle waste materials.
