Jitcharoen et al. [2] studied the penetration of a CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass into an alumina body,
showing that the subsequent gradual change in Elastic Modulus significantly improves the surface
properties of the system and suppresses the Hertzian cracking.
a) b) Prediction of the Depth of Penetration By assuming that the driving force for glass penetration is capillarity, the depth of penetration could be predicted by means of the equation proposed by Kuromitsu et al. [7]

Zhang et al [15] presented a semi-supervised kernel-based fuzzy c-means algorithm called SSKFCM by introducing semi-supervised learning technique and the kernel method simultaneously into conventional fuzzy clustering algorithm.
Zhang et al [16] also proposed a semi-supervised clustering approach using the kernel-based method based on KFCM.
Different from the above two algorithm, Grira et al [14] used so-called pairwise constraints to improve the performance of FCM.

IGC is a particular problem for
Al-Cu-(Mg) (2xxx) and Al-Zn-Mg-(Cu) (7xxx) series aluminium alloys used widely in both
commercial and military aircraft.
A study [6] of IGC on Al-Mg-Si alloys in aggressive HCl solutions showed that an exfoliation-like attack occurred, which developed a high directionality of growth in the rolling direction.

Mallory et. al [7] also have reported that, complexing agent in Ni-P solution exert a buffering action and thus prevent pH from falling too fast.
This is in good agreement with the finding reported by Huang et.al [11].
Solution A contains high phosphorus content possess low plating rate which is similar findings with Armyanov et. al [12] and Tarozaite [13].
