The real CFST columns tested by Han et al. [16] were used in this paper, and the parameters were as follows: column height was 1.5m, width and depth of square section were 120mm, the thickness of steel tube were selected as 2.65mm, 3.65mm and 4.65mm, respectively, fcu’ was 61.2MPa, was 0.2, the yield strength and elastic modulus of steel tube were 340MPa and 207GPa.
The El Centro earthquake and harmonic excitation were selected and scaled to the peak acceleration of 1.5g and 0.1g respectively.
