Fig.10 Comparison of EDM efficiency with other tool materials (Cu electrode [-], ui=120V, SV=60V, iP=11A, te/to=0.5/5µs, t=10min) Axial vibration (large) No vibration C-PCD EC-PCD SKD61 WC C-PCD EC-PCD Comparison of the EDM Efficiency with Other Tool Materials The removal efficiency in the ultrasonic vibration assisted EDM of the PCD were compared with the values obtained in the discharge machining of die steel (SKD61) and tungsten carbide (RD50).
Though strict comparisons cannot be made as far as the same discharge conditions were used for all the workpiece materials, i.e.

Factories, especially chemical-based production industry do not look seriously into this matter when dumping their waste materials directly into the nearest rivers and seas.
Microorganisms which are cultivated in laboratory or waste biomass from industries are relatively abundant and inexpensive materials can be used as biosorbents.

This resulted in enhancing the wettability of both materials but with more pronounced effect on the PP.
Recently, the atmospheric-pressure plasma techniques are increasingly being used for the treatment of the textile materials.
The properties of these materials are illustrated in Table 1.
In both cases, expensive and rare materials were utilized to manufacture the plasma reactor while in this work cost-effective material and simple manufacturing technique were employed.

It is well known that the composites of polymers and their blends exhibit enhanced properties than that of the constituent materials [1,2].
The polymer composite materials have been studied to modify the dielectric properties for practical applications.
ε' = C d / εo A (1) Where C is capacitance of the dielectric material, d is thickness of the pellet and or polymer blend, A is area of the pellet and εo is the permittivity of free space.
