Detection of nucleic acids has wide ranging applications in biomedical, food, forensic and environmental sciences as well as in anti-bioterrorism.
The development of highly sensitive, cost-effective and miniaturized biosensors and biochips requires advanced technology coupled with fundamental knowledge in chemistry, biology, and material sciences.
Thus designing biosensors with higher efficacy depends on the development of novel materials to improve both the recognition and transduction processes.
SERS offers a great promise to develop biosensor in the fields of biochemistry, forensics science, food science, Environment science and medical diagnostics.

First-Principles Calculations For Electrical Proterties Of The Lead Anode Plate Fuli Wanga, Jingchao Chenb, Jie Yuc (Key Laboratory of Advance Material of rare Precious and Nonferrous Metals, Education Ministry of China; and Key Laboratory of Advanced Materials of Yun nan Province, Kunming University of Science and Technology,Kunming650093,P.K.China) a460677928@qq.com,bcjingchao@hotmail.com ,cyujieone@163.com Keywords: anode materials; fermi energy; electrode potential; first-principles; lead base alloy Abstract: Four kinds of fermi energy of lead anode plate were calculated by using first-principles.
Different metals and different alloy elements of the fermi energy level were compared, the minimum electrode potential lead base alloy anode materials is known.
So the Pb-Sb alloy is expected to become the electrode potential minimum lead base alloy anode materials.
In order to reduce the energy consumption and the cost of anode materials, to reduce electrode potential is the pursuits of the majority of wet smelting workers, so explore new anode materials was the research topic in recently.
