Loading Program
The horizontal load sequence is controlled by the displacement.
The steel tube wall under the lower stiffening ring appeared residual strain; the bearing capacity of the specimen reached its peak during the sixth loading stage; in the sixth loading stage, the peak point of the hysteresis curve fell rapidly after the ultimate load point, the displacement on the top of the column is larger and the energy dissipation capacity of the specimen increased in a short term, but the material strength also degenerated significantly.

Materials and methods
1.1 Experimental device
The experimental device is five organic glass column, its size is long for 62 cm, for 17 cm inner diameter, the device is shown in Figure 1.Which is used for researching the thickness of unstructured zone in groundwater influenced on the volatilization of BTEX.
Each column configuration parameters is shown in table 1. 1.2 Experimental material The experiment adopts four common kinds of unstructured zone media ( mild clay, silty sand, fine sand and medium sand).
