Introduction Co-based alloys were widely used for high temperature active service because of the compact, stable, slow-growing and adherent oxide scale, such as Al2O3 and Cr2O3 [1], which make the materials widely used in established military and commercial gas turbine engines and other high temperature components.
This work is very important for understanding the oxidation behavior of more complex systems, and will provide useful information for developing advanced Co-based materials. 2.

In certain developing nations, vast amounts of the leftover straw are burned in the fields or by the side of the road instead of being employed as industrial raw materials.
The raw materials utilized in this study were characterized by their environmentally-friendly properties and low cost.
Moreover, the employment of these materials in the process of oil-water separation demonstrated a highly successful waste management approach.
Experimental Materials: The AR grade of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) was procured from RCI Labscan Thailand.
FT-IR spectra of rice straw before and after boiling with NaOH solution, oil absorbent materials were prepared using 20, 30 and 40 g of rice straw.
