The important phenomenon that affects cast workpiece in the investment casting process is the size changing of wax pattern, which resulted in change of the ceramic mold profile.

Abstract.
LBM is one of the AMP which is used for shaping almost whole range of engineering materials [1].
Surface machining through laser based machining process gives many advantages in machining of complex geometry and difficult to machine material like ceramic, tool steel and some composites.
