Kazakhstan's oil pipeline industry development Kazakhstan long distance crude oil pipeline is a professional operation of the company "Kazakhstan oil co., LTD" (hereinafter referred to as KTO), it was founded in 1997, its history dates back to the former Soviet period.
KTO have 5495 km oil pipeline, 2148 km of water pipeline.
The company's main business: 1) Through the long distance crude oil pipeline to provide oil and oil products transportation services, including product transfer, storage, mixed); 2) The organization through of other countries oil transportation pipeline transportation system Kazakhstan oil; 3) As the other company to provide oil pipeline operation and technical maintenance service; 4) And carry on some water the thermal, electric power transmission and distribution business etc.
