Yb:YAG is a new material which is especially suitable for semiconductor diodes (Laser diode, LD) after Nd:YAG laser crystal that pumped solid state lasers.
Experiment Adopt the purity of 5N Yb2O3, Nd2O3, Y2O3 and Al2O3 as raw materials, put all kinds of high purity oxide powders in stoichiometric accurate weighing, after several hours in the air in 1000 ℃ calcination, add the mixture 12h to the mold.
Then pressing material in the press on the 1200KN.
