Engineering situation The non-navigable spans in the deepwater area of the Bridge adopt a scheme of 110m-span full-pier full-breadth steel box continuous beam bridge, with the length of 14km.
After sectioning, the maximum height of one-time precast pier shafts is near 28m, while the height is 20m at the most of the others sea-crossing civil bridges. ③The piers are segmental prefabricated.
The joints between segments are dry, connected though shear connector and prestressed bar reinforcement, while the sections of pier shafts of the others sea-crossing civil bridges are very small, with joints connection wet.
