In 1957 a scientist from Ukraine (USSR) Viktor Glukhovsky put forward an assumption which was taken as a base for development and bringing into practice of construction a principally new class of cementitious materials which first appeared in the field under a name of alkaline (now also known under a general name of alkali-activated) cementitious materials.
Later, when these new materials were brought into a practice of construction they were renamed in “cements” – a general term applied to binding/cementitious/ materials.

Residual Stress Distribution through Thickness in Cold-Rolled Aluminum Sheet Nobuyuki Hattori1, a, Ryo Matsumoto1, b and Hiroshi Utsunomiya1, c 1 Division of Materials and Manufacturing Science, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, Japan a nobuyiki.hattori@mat.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp, b ryo@mat.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp, c uts@mat.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp Keywords: finite-element method, cold rolling, residual stress, friction, aspect ratio Abstract.
Introduction Recently, high strengthening of materials is a general trend so that the residual stress also increases.
The matter of the difference seems to be associated with the thermal stress caused in chemical polishing, crystallographic texture of the specimen or errors in materials constants used in the calculation.

This paper started with the micro-perspective of the concrete structure, adopted a numerical simulation method to study the damage characteristics of the RCC weak level in the fracture process under the action of pure water pressure, fully considered the inhomogeneity of the RCC material and the discreteness of micro body constituting the material, and think that the macroscopical destruction of material is an accumulated process of the mesoscopic damage.
Weibull distribution is used to describe the discrete properties of the infinitesimal body, the uneven parameters of materials are introduced to the calculated unit, and finite element method is adapted to analysis stress.
