Introduction In the airframe industry, composite materials have been replacing conventional metallic materials at an unprecedented rate, driven by the essential need for lightweight and improved structural performances to achieve high demands on aircraft sustainability objectives.
Meanwhile, the complexity of failure mechanisms exhibited by fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials makes predicting composite laminate damage and failure progress a daunting challenge.

Experiments Materials and Welding Parameters.
Two materials were investigated in the present study, B1500HS and B250P (commercial steel strip cold rolled), representing the hot formed UHSS and high strength cold rolled steel respectively, whose chemical composition (wt.%) are listed in table 1.
This part was result from the strain hardening of the metal material.

The core materials, which were encapsulated in hollow microcapsules, can be solids, droplets of liquids and gasses.
There has been considerable researches toward hollow microcapsules such as drug delivery[2], biological cell engineering[3], functional materials[4] and textile science[5] due to their encapsulation properties, contents protection, controlled release, and compatibility of the core materials, and their preparation in the submicrometer/micrometer diameter range[6].
Experimental Section 1.1 Materials Sodium poly(styrene sulfonate) (PSS, MW ~70K), poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH, MW ~120K to 200K) were purchased from Alfa-Aesar without further purification.
