In order to promote the efficient use of composite materials in civil engineering infrastructure, effort is being directed at the development of design criteria for composite structures.
The composite structures used in civil engineering are usually defined as structures consisting of sub elements of different engineering materials [3].

Accordingly, the requirements to be satisfied in the design of civil engineering structures are diversified.
As a new construction material in the civil engineering industries, fiber reinforced polymeric plastic (FRP) has a superior corrosion resistance, high specific strength/stiffness, etc.
Reinforced Concrete Filled FRP Tube System In general, for steel and concrete materials used in the field of civil engineering, they can be assumed to be isotropic and homogeneous.

Teaching concept of engineering training center is: Keeping a close eye on the development direction of modern engineering, absorbing the successful experience of other universities, highlighting college training objectives and characteristics of civil engineering courses, taking cultivation of engineering awareness, engineering quality, innovative awareness and ability as a main line, turning the construction of architect infrastructure and hardware equipment to connotation construction, refining characteristics, establishing the top-ranking institution of engineering training and teaching base.
Engineering quality includes engineering technical and non-technical quality.
Anhui University of Architecture is an undergraduate architectural institution which combines the production, learning and research in an efficient way, it’s based on engineering, and the civil engineering discipline has its distinctive characteristics.
Considering our university’s talents training objective which is cultivating advanced applied talents with good moral quality, innovative spirit and practical ability, combining our university’s feature which has full range of characteristics and categories of civil engineering subjects, we put “cultivating advanced applied talents with solid basis, adaptability, strong sense of innovation and competitiveness” as the objective of practical teaching of undergraduate.
Refining Characteristics, Creating First-class Practice Teaching Base for Engineering Training With the development concept of “exploring while constructing”, we have formed our characteristics in construction and teaching by contentious exploring and reforming: In teaching process, we adopt the teaching mode of “three levels, modular”, (namely engineering cognitive level, engineering practical level, engineering comprehensive training level), combine the characteristics of civil engineering disciplines, bring practical teaching part such as building electrical installation and disassembling and repairing of engineering machinery into electrical training and fitter training, fully embody the "individualized" teaching philosophy. (2) In practical training, we introduce the enterprise culture education.

The aim of this paper is an introduction to a very specific area of civil engineering, which is known as tensile structures (structures acting only in tension).
This brings us to another issue related to this field of civil engineering: the question how to prestress these structures and how to find their shapes.
As stated in the text of this article, this field of civil engineering and architecture enjoys increasing popularity, which places demands on software development, the creation of normative regulations, material engineering, etc., but also on professionals in the design process.
Only through a deep understanding of this field of civil engineering , the tensile structures can be designed to suit the physical as well as aesthetic requirements.
